Coronavirus Update for Our Compass Counseling Community
Dear Compass Counseling Community-
We wanted to share our current response to Covid 19. As we are all well aware life is being interrupted temporarily. We wanted to reach out to our community about our current plans. As things are rapidly changing we will adjust as needed. We are open for business and accepting new clients.
EVERY Compass Counseling client can request to move their appointment to Telehealth. Our team is experienced with Telehealth and our system is secure and simple for our clients to use. Your therapist will be contacting you directly on simple steps to add Telehealth if you choose and each new client will be set up for in-person and Telehealth appointments as well. Click here for FAQ’s about Telehealth.
Our Plan
As of now, our clients who are feeling healthy have the option to attend their regularly scheduled appointments in person.
EVERY client at Compass Counseling, currently has the option to temporarily transition to Telehealth if they choose.
We will be actively monitoring our policies as needed. Our main goal is to make sure that everyone stays healthy and on track with their mental health. We are going to be here to guide you through!
The Compass Counseling team is well trained and experienced in Telehealth counseling.
We would like our clients to be open about Telehealth. There may be a learning curve, but many of our clients use telehealth and prefer it. Our team is ready to help guide you through each step of the way.
Clients Who Would Like to Keep In Person Appointments
If you or anyone in your home is not feeling well please call and cancel your appointment or request a telehealth appointment from your therapist.
We will be increasing our cleaning of our waiting rooms, but want to minimize the use of them for the next few weeks.
We are asking that all of our clients wait in their vehicle until it is time for your appointment. Your therapist will notify you when it is time for you to come on in for your appointment. Once you are notified, you can come directly to your therapist’s office.
As the situation is quickly developing, if your therapist is impacted by closures, he/she will contact you directly to make arrangements for your sessions.
Please visit our Telehealth FAQ page for more details. Please let us know if you have any questions. You can also visit the Kentucky COVID-19 Website for Statewide Details.
