Leta Norman is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Supervisor
whose goal is to provide a supportive and encouraging environment where
her clients can experience hope, healing, and growth. She is dedicated to
helping females 16 years and older to overcome a variety of life issues–
whether it be anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, low self-esteem, or
relationship issues. Her hope is to meet you where you are and help you
achieve meaningful change despite life’s many challenges.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Murray State
University in 1998 and her Master’s Degree in Counseling and Human
Development from Lindsey Wilson College in 2019.
As an LPCC-S, Leta specializes in using eye-movement desensitization and
reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational
Interviewing, and Reality Therapy with her clients. She is TF-CBT (Trauma
Focused) trained and has experience working in the field of community
mental health, addiction treatment and private practice. Leta is a Christian
and can offer faith-based insight when requested by the client. Her approach is collaborative and compassionate, grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection and understanding.
When Leta is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In her spare time, Leta likes crafting, decorating her home and tracing her family roots.
