John Putney, CSW

John Putney is a Certified Social Worker who works with adults of all ages. John earned his Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Murray State in 2022 and his Master’s degree in Social Work from Western Kentucky University in 2023.

John has experience working in substance use treatment and has a passion for working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem, anger, and addiction. John utilizes Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. John enjoys helping clients recognize their strengths and talents in order to make positive changes in their lives.

John enjoys spending time with his wife and dogs, watching sports, and engaging in outdoor actives such as fishing, and hunting. John also enjoys being active in his church.
