Ashley Detering, LPCA

Ashley Detering is a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands.  She is passionate about walking alongside individuals as they navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, and trauma.   Ashely deeply values the courage it takes to seek help and feels honored to sit with clients with through both the highs and lows of their journey. 

Her approach is collaborative and compassionate, grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection and understanding.  Ashley draws from Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play-based interventions, and parts work to meet each client where they are and support their process of growth while working toward lasting change. Her therapeutic goals include fostering authentic presence, creating a safe and non-judgmental space, building genuine connections, and helping clients process life’s more challenging moments.  

When she is not in the office, Ashley enjoys reading, spending time with family, antiquing, and exploring new coffee shops.  She understands that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming and is dedicated to navigating that process together with client, providing care, collaboration, and encouragement every step of the way.
